Website Drama
It’s been a busy weekish:
- I was hired, well, sort of. I’m an independent contractor for a web design business — they’re feeding me about 30 hours a week. I’d rather not share a link, it’s kind of embarrassing. I’d rather you looked at my personal design portfolio that I worked on last weekend
- I have continued to make my Christmas gifts in between working. I’m not announcing what they are because, well, that would give it away.
- Eric Mann was totally cool and wrote a guest article at TechTrajectory.com about the maturation of social networking. This — and the difficulty I started having keeping up with my news feeds — prompted me to write a non-guest article
- The Holiday Cocktail party was fun — thank you Elizabeth… Work the next day was not as much
Had good conversations with people about the power of user generated content, huge OELD multi-touch screens for use in the porn industry, the Tempe salsa industry — or lack thereof, what people in different states call themselves (Oregon = Oregonians, Arizona = Arizonans, New York = New Yorkers, Washington DC = Politicians or Druggie), what — exactly — a Euphonium is, and other topics of critical importance. - Some of you that use larger resolution displays may have noticed weird issues with some of the graphics on the site. I think they have all been mostly patched up. While we’re on the topic of this site, what in the heck should I do with this ugly sidebar? ?
- RadioPopper announced long-awaited RadioPopper X system. Of course, we weren’t waiting for the RadioPopper X system, we were waiting for anything. RadioPopper is announcing all the details as we speak, er… I type.

TD,
Congrats on the gig. Independent is good I think. Just wanted to drop you a note and say howdy and Merry Christmas. I figured a mass email was lame, so this is your personalized message. We’ll be heading North so I hope I don’t freeze.
later,
Adam N.
Hey, Adam. Thanks for the “personal holiday greeting” — should be trademarked…. Personal Holiday Greetings by AcmePhoto. Or does that depersonalize it?
Have fun in Montana,
- Cheers.
