I just went and took an “official” typing test with a staffing agency. They gave me a fancy certificate to show off and everything! Anyway, despite the too-low and not adjustable chair, the cramped keyboard, and a flickering monitor I still managed a personal record.

• 98 gross words per minute (WPM)
• 95% accuracy
• 83 net words per minute (WPM)

I’ve had better accuracy, but lower speed before, so I’m not sure if this truly is a full-on record, but it the highest gross WPM that I remember recording and since it’s the first “official” test I’ve taken it automatically acquires record status.
