Stepping off the Crazy Train
I have some apologies to make:
- To Ozzy Osbourne for the cheap use of his magnificent song title.
- For not posting in the past decade.
Well, perhaps it hasn’t quite been a decade, but it sure feels like it.
- 18 days ago was my last day of work (and my last blog post)
- I left the State of Oregon 13 days ago
- We crossed the Colorado River into Arizona 11 days ago
- The computer I’m writing this was only functional as of yesterday
18 days Isn’t much, I know, but it seems like a decade. Here’s what’s going on and upcoming:
- I really, really need to find myself employment. And I’ve been looking. As of this writing, 11 jobs have been applied to so far.
- Since I obviously am not working, I’m going to be taking some time to work on the upcoming book.
- Explore. Phoenix metro is huge. Seriously huge. While I have found everything I’ll ever need within a 10 minute drive from my apartment, I feel that there is so much more going on out there. For instance, I have haven’t even made it into Phoenix downtown. I’d like to post reviews of places here… I’ve been taking snapshots to help with that.
- Photography. It has been a while since I’ve done a serious shoot… it’s time to get back to it.
- Get my apartment in order. It’s hard to do when you can’t spend money, but most of my stuff is still packed and/or scattered around. My desk, well, it’s a horizontal surface and has accumulated a bunch of unpacked-but-not-put-away stuff.
So, with that, I think I’ll get to it and get some work done.
